Overview

Anthony J. Scillia, MD, completed his fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute, Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.

He served as team physician assisting with the coverage of the University of West Alabama and the University of Alabama, and covered the Birmingham Barons (Chicago White Sox AA), Strikehard Mixed Martial Arts, Calera High School, and the Birmingham Ballet under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey R. Dugas.

Dr. Scillia received his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Seton Hall University-St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he served as administrative chief resident.

Prior to graduating from New Jersey Medical School-UMDNJ, he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgetown University.
