Overview

Dr. Anthony Festa is an orthopaedic surgeon in his seventh year of practice at the New Jersey Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Festa is a fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist and is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). His expertise includes non-operative and operative treatment of sports injuries in pediatric, adolescent and adult patients, from recreational to the professional level.

Dr. Festa received his undergraduate degree from Boston College, where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Festa earned his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and then completed his orthopaedic residency at Tufts University Affiliated Orthopaedic residency in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Festa then completed a sports medicine fellowship at the San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Program where he served as an assistant team Physician for the San Diego Padres and San Diego State University.
